All Player features

This guide covers the web Player and the Server features that support it. Start with Docker installation if you are new. For compatible Jellyfin clients, see Connect browsers and Jellyfin apps.

Availability depends on your installed version, media type, browser, Profile permissions, and enabled Server settings. The guides describe those boundaries rather than treating every feature as available everywhere.

Use troubleshooting for installation, scanning, playback, and access problems. Check media compatibility before preparing a library for a particular browser. Architecture and privacy explains where your data goes.
